Word of mouth

What clients say

“Justin has done an amazing job transforming my 75 gallon tank into a turtle’s paradise. He is creative, reliable and extremely knowledgeable about the animals themselves, as well as the science behind all that is involved when making an aquarium. My turtle and fish truly are thriving in their new home.”

“Justin has been taking care of both of our large fish tanks for years. We know we can always count on him for his professionalism, knowledge and concern about the well-being of all of our fish. He also assisted us when we moved out to remodel our home—he took care of all of our fish until we were able to move back in. We recommend him to everyone that is seeking assistance with their fish tanks!”

“Justin is our fish whisperer! He cleaned my classroom tank at school and it looks amazing - the fish are happy and after suggesting a spotted pleco (who the kids named Hoover) it helped to solve my eternal green tank issue. He is always friendly, professional, and takes the time to answer any questions. Thanks Justin :)”

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about service area, pricing, and what we take on.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Long Island, NY — Nassau and Suffolk counties. Wherever you are on the island, we come to you for the consultation, the installation, and the ongoing care.

Do you charge for consultations?

No — consultations are always free. We’ll look at your space and talk through options before anything is scheduled.

What services do you offer?

We offer three core services: pond restoration and maintenance, custom aquarium design and care, and custom habitats like terrariums and paludariums. One team handles design, installation, and ongoing maintenance for all three.

How much do your services cost?

Pricing is consultation-based, so it depends on the scope of your project — most work runs from around $100 into the thousands. The consultation itself is always free, so there’s no cost to get a real number for your space.

Can you restore a neglected or inherited pond?

Yes — restoring neglected or inherited ponds is one of our most common projects. We drain, clean, rebalance, and restock, then set up a maintenance plan to keep it healthy going forward.

How often does a pond or aquarium need professional maintenance?

It depends on the system — size, stocking, plants, and equipment all matter. We tailor a maintenance schedule to your setup during the free consultation.

Do you maintain tanks and ponds you didn’t build?

Yes — much of our work is restoring and maintaining ponds and aquariums other people built or previous owners left behind.

Do you build habitats for animals other than fish?

Yes — we design and build custom habitats for animals beyond fish, including axolotls, turtles, and other reptiles, plus terrariums and paludariums.
